A New OTA Software Update Available for Infinix Hot 4

There's a new software update for infinix Hot 4. Infinix mobility pushed the new software to users via OTA. The new update aims to fix and optimize certain issues. It will
  • Fix the partial fingerprint functions 
  • Fix issue of the phone rebooting itself. 
  • Optimize the startup guide interface that was occasionally blocked.
  • optimized the memory leak issue in the app using process.
  • Optimize the camera function

 If your Infinix Hot 4 is rooted you should unroot it before you proceed with the update. You will most likely brick your device if you try to update your device while it has root access. 

How to install the OTA update 
  • Check if the update has been pushed to your device 
  • To check for the OTA update, navigate to your phone's Settings > About Phone > Software Update 
  • You should see the update. It's 420.29MB.
  • Download the update 
  • Install the update if your phone is not rooted. 
  • Your battery charge shouldn't be lower than 30%
